Richfield Springs/ODY (S4) falls to Cincinnatus (S3) 2-0 in the NYS Class-D Girls Soccer Regional at Nottingham High School in Syracuse. Cincy advances to the state final four next weekend. RS/ODY finishes a great season with a record of 16-3 and their first S4 title in program history.
1-Richfield Springs/ODY defeats 3-Edmeston/Morris 1-0 to win the 2025 Section IV Class-D Girls Soccer Championship. First S4 title in program history for the Eagles. Issy Seamon scores the game winner with 14 minutes left in regulation for RS/ODY. Issy breaks free on the left wing and finds an opening in the box. She rips a shot to the low right corner of the net for the huge goal. Issy is also named the NateLull.com Player of the Game. The RS/ODY Girls advance to the state tournament next Saturday (11/8) at Nottingham HS in Syracuse at 10 AM. They await the champion of S3. The S3 Class-D title game is on 11/2 at 4:30 PM at SUNY Cortland between Cincinnatus and Copenhagen.
3-Bainbridge-Guilford suffers a heartbreaking setback to 2-Elmira Notre Dame in the S4 Class-C Girls Soccer Semis. The teams battle to a 2-2 tie in regulation but END moves on in PKs. Breanna Casey scores both goals in regulation for the Bobcats. Carleigh Judd and Keelan Ammon earn 1 assist each. Breanna, Keelan and Kamry Patten sink PKs for B-G. First round of PKs tied 3-3 then END moves on 1-0 in the second round. The Bobcats finish the season at 15-1-1.
2-Oneonta falls to 3-Watkins Glen 4-3 in 2 OTs in the S4 Class-B Girls Soccer Semifinals. WG scores with 1:13 left in extra time to take the win. Nora Sander piles up 1 goal and 2 assists to lead the Jackets. Carly Stamas and Lyla Hinchey bury 1 goal each for OHS.
4-Sidney falls to 1-Chenango Forks 8-1 in the S4 Class-B Girls Soccer Semifinals. CF will face 3-Watkins Glen for the title on 11/1. Nayla Miley nets 1 goal to pace the Sabers.
3-Edmeston/Morris stuns 2-Charlotte Valley/Schenevus 1-0 to advance to the S4 Class-D Girls Soccer Championship on 11/1 at Sidney HS at 11 AM. E/M faces 1-RS/ODY in a TVL title game rematch. Sophie Robinson scores the game winner off a dish from Elle Nichols. Amira Ross helps set it up with a great pass to Elle.
