3-Windsor defeats 4-Watkins Glen 58-56 to win the 2026 S4 Class-B Boys Basketball Championship at Visions Arena in Binghamton. First S4 championship for WHS since 1999. Nico Soriano was excellent with 19 points and 13 steals for the Black Knights. Brayden Moran adds 15 points and Patrick Finn chips in 10 points. Windsor will play a sub-regional against Cold Spring Harbor (S8, at-large bid) on 3/11 at 5:30 PM at Johnson City HS.
1-Cooperstown defeats 2-Cato-Meridian 74-51 to win the 2026 S3 Class-C Boys Basketball Championship at SRC Arena in Syracuse. Back-to-back titles for the Hawkeyes. Miles Nelen fires in 19 points for CCS. Jackson Crisman goes for 18 points and Brody Murdock adds 13 points. Cooper Coleman sinks 12 points and Christian Lawson chips in 7 points. Coop will face Elmira Notre Dame (S4) in the NYS Regional round on 3/15 at 5 PM back at SRC Arena.
2-Edmeston defeats 4-Schenevus 65-59 to win the 2026 S4 Class-D Boys Basketball Championship at SUNY Delhi. First sectional title in program history for the Panthers. Landon Wust scores a team best 17 points to lead ECS. Gavin Zinger adds 14 points and Braymon Clark hits for 12 points. Allen Osborne fires in a game high 29 points for the Dragons. Sawyer Bridger kicks in 14 points. Edmeston will play Sackets Harbor (S3) on 3/15 at 3 PM at SRC Arena in Syracuse.
2-Delhi falls to 1-Elmira Notre Dame 68-64 in OT in the 2026 S4 Class-C Boys Basketball Championship. Lucas Nealis scores 15 points to pace the Bulldogs. Teddy Kelsh adds 14 points. Benny Schnabel and John Wilson sink 11 points each. DA finishes the season with a record of 19-4.

Gavin Zinger paces the Panthers with a game high 19 points. Landon Wust chips in 13 points and Braymon Clark nets 11 points. Sire Champen finishes with 8 points. Garrett Dropp scores 12 points for the Rams. JB Trimbell pops in 6 points.

McKenna Hoyt drops in a game high 25 points for S/J in the victory. Tierney Turner comes up big with 24 points. Bailey Thayer paces the Patriots with 17 points. Mackenzie McGovern chips in 15 points and Allie Ackerman contributes 8 points. S/J will face Copenhagen (S3) on 3/15 at 10 AM at Visions Arena in Binghamton in the NYS Regional round.

3-Bainbridge-Guilford falls to 2-Union Springs 44-36 in the Section IV Class-C Girls Basketball Semis at TC3. The Wolves advance to play Delhi for the S4 title. Marissa Mayo totals 10 points and 8 rebounds for the Bobcats. Jayslin Henderson adds 8 points and 7 rebounds. Peyton Umbra tallies 6 points and 4 assists.
